Step 1
First, find out the IP address of the computer you are interested in. This can be done using the MS Outlook mail program. While viewing letters in this service, right-click on the email address of the required correspondent. In the menu that opens, click on the "Properties" item and go to the "Details" tab. In the Received: from field next to the sender's name, you will see their IP address. If the letter was sent from a computer that worked in the local network, the network address of the gateway will be indicated.

There are many online services that offer to recognize the geographic address and other data of a computer by its IP. It should be borne in mind that they all provide information about the Internet provider serving the computer.
Step 3
Go to the 2ip website www.2ip.ru and click on the "Information about the IP address" link. In the "IP address" field, enter the required combination of numbers and click on the "Check" item. After that, information about the provider will appear on the screen: legal address, geographic location, telephone, fax, and so on.
Step 4
Go to another equally well-known service located at the link https://www.ip-whois.net/. Click on the "IP Information" option. Enter your network address information and click "Get IP Information". The program will give information about the geographic location of the provider, as well as a Google Internet map with the locality where the office is located.
Step 5
Install the free LanWhoIs program on your computer, which can collect information about IP addresses and domains. Download it from https://lantricks.ru/download/ and run it. In the "Address" field, enter the appropriate combination of numbers and click the "Request" option. The results can be saved using the "Save" command.
Step 6
Be aware that some users hide their IP address. In this case, you will not be able to establish the location of the person you are interested in.
