In Minecraft, as in the real world, fire can be very destructive. Buildings and mobs, as well as the players themselves, will suffer from it. Nevertheless, this technical block is very necessary for some purposes - for example, to activate the hellish portal or to create one of the types of armor. Therefore, you should find out how fire is produced in the game.
Necessary
- - lighter
- - fire ball
- - lava
- - hell stone
- - special mods
- - admin console
Instructions
Step 1
The way to implement this intention depends solely on the exact purpose for which you need this. So, if fire is needed to set fire to something: a portal, blocks of grass or trees (for example, to quickly clear the area), etc., then it is better to craft a lighter to extract it. It is made on a workbench with two ingredients - flint and an iron ingot.
Step 2
You will receive the last of the above components by smelting the corresponding ore in the furnace. Flint is usually found during the extraction of gravel - it falls out of its accumulation. After finding these ingredients, place them on the workbench in this way: the flint will go to the center slot of the lower horizontal row, and the iron ingot will go to the left slot of the middle one. With the resulting flint, set fire to the material you want to ignite, or the portal. Remember, however, that this lighter is only designed for 64 uses.
Step 3
If you need fire to heat your house - for example, to set up a fireplace - or for traps, make a sortie into the Lower World (Hell). Collect the required number of Hellstone blocks there. Install it in the fireplace, set it on fire - and it will burn there forever, or at least until you decide to bring down the flame. To create a deadly trap for mobs or other players, open the floor in your dwelling, place more Hellstone in the depression and cover it with other blocks, connecting them to any trigger (with a lever or a pressure plate). Then, when a stranger enters, the floor under him will fall through - and he will be right among the flames.
Step 4
Lava can also be an excellent source of flame. Take a bucket and go to the mine or to the cave - there the flammable component you need is most often found. However, be extremely careful with lava, as it can set fire to blocks adjacent to it. In addition, you can use a ghast fireball as a means of extracting flame (if you manage to catch this "projectile" of this hostile Nether mob in a bucket).
Step 5
None of the above methods will work for you if you want to get a solid fire going in a separate block. Legally, this is allowed only with the help of special mods - for example, TooManyItems (which allows you to wear flames even among inventory items) or Fire. In the latter case, the desired material will become available through crafting. You will make it with a lighter and eight obsidian blocks. Place the first in the center slot of the workbench, and the last in its remaining slots. This will give you sixteen fire blocks.
