What is the key to this amazing insight? Indeed, in this regard, Twitter can be quite accurate. It's very simple: this list is compiled based on the accounts that you already follow and the users that these people follow. That is, it is a circle of probable mutual acquaintances.
Since the candidates for "like-minded" are offered in small numbers, you yourself can open the list of readers and favorites of your close friends and look for suitable candidates there. These may be your real acquaintances - you will probably recognize them by their avatars and nicknames, or there may be unfamiliar personalities that interest you in something.
Address books
Another very simple way to find friends on Twitter is to click on the "Find Friends" link. She is in the same window as "Kindred in Spirit." By clicking on it, you will see several searches in address books: that is, by connecting Twitter to your other services, you can go to the lists of your friends and acquaintances in Ndex, AOL, Gmail, Jutlook, Yahoo. A new window will display all the Tweets of those who are registered in your address books - you can mark the people you need with checkmarks and click at the bottom of the page "Read selected".
Hashtags
You can find like-minded people by hashtags - these are hyperlinks that unite posts of different people on the same topic. Therefore, if you are a big fan of, for example, "Game of Thrones", you just need to search for #gamepresol and you will see what Twitter users write about it. Perhaps someone's statements will seem especially close in spirit to you - then you can try to communicate with this person better. Subscribe to his twitter and comment on his posts, or just start a conversation in private messages.
Friends with the same interests
Another way to search for unfamiliar (and familiar) like-minded people is a meeting in the vastness of a "community". That is, as such, there are no communities on Twitter, but there are pages on behalf of some organizations or societies. For example, if you are a fan of a music group, find its official Twitter (usually there is news of the group) and look at other people who have subscribed to this page. At least you already have one common interest, you can start an acquaintance, starting from this.
