Step 1
The virus that blocks the operating system of a personal computer and causes a malicious banner to appear is called “Trojan. Winlock”. This virus requires you to send an SMS message to a paid number in order to unlock your computer. Do not do this under any circumstances.
Step 2
The first step is to check which system options function regardless of the virus. Most often, the "Desktop" is completely blocked.
Use the Ctrl + Alt + Delete hotkey combination to invoke the "Task Manager". In the dialog box that appears, left-click on the "File" drop-down list. Click on the "New task (Run …)" button. Enter the cmd.exe command to invoke the command line.
In the system utility window that appears, enter the following line:% systemroot% / system32 / restore / rstrui.exe. Press the “Enter” key. The System Restore menu will start. Specify a "rollback" point. Next, an automatic system restore operation will be performed for the specified period.
After completing the operation, check your OS with the updated version of the antivirus software.
Step 3
To remove the banner from the desktop, download the free LiveCD program from the official Dr. Web website (https://www.freedrweb.com/livecd). Burn it to a blank disc. Insert it into the drive of the infected computer and start it. In automatic mode, the program will scan the system and remove malicious files. Restart your computer and resume normal operation

Visit the official website of anti-virus software companies, for example, Dr. Web (https://www.drweb.com/unlocker/index/?lng=ru), Kaspersky (https://sms.kaspersky.com/) or ESET Nod 32 (https://www.esetnod32.ru/.support/winlock/). Enter the text of the message or the number to which you want to send an SMS. You will be provided with codes with which you can remove the banner
