Step 1
Decent spam emails have this feature - "unsubscribe". If there is one, follow the link to the page, put a tick in the box with a proposal to leave you alone, and we live quietly for a long time.

If letters with annoying content are persistently sent from the same address, mark them with a tick, in the upper right corner of the screen, click on the "This is spam" button, and letters from this addressee will never bother you.
Step 3
If the mailbox is just littered with "left" letters, then it is worth starting a new one and starting life from a "blank slate". In this case, you need to set up forwarding from those persons who are not indifferent to you, and all the rest of the spam will remain in the old mailbox.

To set up forwarding - click "Settings" - "Filters". In the "From" field, enter the addresses of the people from whom you want to receive letters. In the "Then next" form, put a tick next to "send a copy of the message to the address", and in this field enter your new address.
