Instructions
Step 1
Download the WYSIWYG Web Builder website builder and install the program on your computer. Then start by clicking on the shortcut. A window will open with many panels located on the left, right and top of the workspace. On the left is the Toolbox, which contains the elements necessary to create a site: buttons, forms, bookmarks, markers, and the like. At the top right is the site manager, which has a tree structure and displays each page individually. By default, the index page is located here. To the right and below is the properties window. The working field located in the middle serves as a kind of "Workbench", it is here that it is necessary to place certain elements and control them.
Step 2
On the left panel, find the "Advanced" section, select the "Layer" item in it and drag it to the middle of the working area. Now stretch to the width and height that the future site should occupy. Click on the element quickly twice with the left mouse button and then select the "Style" tab. Set the "Image" mode, in the "Image" column specify the path to the picture, which will be the basis of the entire site.
Step 3
Take care of the site logo, to do this, on the left in the "Images" section, find the "Image" item and drag it to the working field. A window will automatically appear in which you need to select a picture with a logo - choose the one that suits best. Place the resulting logo on the future site so that everything looks appropriate.
Step 4
The site often contains contacts for feedback: mail or phone number. To place contacts on the page on the left in the "Standard" section, find the "Text" item and drag it to the work field. Place the element where it will look best. Double-click on the “Text” element, select the text and find on the top panel of the program control of its size and color. If you have previously used the Microsoft Office program, then there will be no problems with setting parameters, since the interfaces are very similar.
Step 5
Now start creating a menu for the site. First, make a few pages of the site. At the top right in the "Site Manager" find and select the index element, and then click the "Copy" icon, which is the sixth in the menu, counting from the left. Copy the page several times until you have reached enough.
Step 6
In the panel on the left, scroll down the slider and find the "Navigation" section. Drag the item "CSS menu" from it to the working field. Double click on the element, put a check mark on the "Synchronize with site manager" item. Customize the appearance and shape of the buttons on the "Style" tab as desired. To change the name of the buttons in the manager on the top right, right-click on the desired page, select "Page properties", change the column "Name in the menu" at your own discretion.
Step 7
In the middle of each site, there is usually a block of text. In the menu on the right, find the "Drawing" section, drag the "Form" item from there to the working field. Adjust its size, poke on the elements twice quickly with the left mouse button and change the roundness of the corners, transparency, and so on. In "Standard" select "Text", drag it to the working field, enter the necessary information into the block and adjust the width and other parameters. To look at the resulting site in test mode, press the F5 key on your keyboard. The beauty of a site will depend on your taste and design ability. To save the site to a file, use the "File" menu item and then "Save As". Further, the created site can be used, for example, on hosting.
