Instructions

Step 1

Download the WYSIWYG Web Builder program, install it on your computer and launch it by clicking on the corresponding shortcut. A window will open in front of you, which at first glance is frightening with a variety of different kinds of elements, but in fact even a child can figure it out here. On the left is the Toolbox, which has everything you need to create a site: forms, buttons, text fields, creating tables, fields, bookmarks, markers and more. At the top right is the site manager, with a tree structure showing each item. By default, there is one page named index. Slightly below and to the right is the page properties window. In the middle of the workspace, you can place all sorts of elements.

Step 2

In the left pane, find the "Advanced" item, then select the "Layer" item and drag it to the program workspace. Stretch it to the required width. Now do a quick double click on it, select the "Style" tab. "Image" mode, in the "Image" column specify the path to the required image - this will be the basis of the site.

Step 3

Now, to set the site logo, find the "Images" section on the left, hold down the "Image" item with the left mouse button and drag the item onto the workspace of the program. A window will automatically open in which you need to specify the desired logo image, do it. Display the resulting logo as you see fit.

Step 4

Usually, on the site, the author leaves some kind of contact for communication with himself, for example, a phone number or e-mail. To place your contacts on the page you are creating, find the "Standard" section on the left, and then drag the "Text" item onto the workspace. Now place the element where it looks appropriate and double-click on it. On the top panel, by selecting the text, you can change its size and color. The interface is very similar to the Microsoft Office program, so there shouldn't be any difficulties here.

Step 5

Let's make the site menu, for this first find the "Site Manager" window in the upper right corner of the screen. There you need to select the index page and then click the "Copy" icon - it is the sixth in the menu, if you start counting from the left. Copy the page as many times as you want to make menu items. In the left pane, scroll down to find the Navigation section. From it, drag the item "CSS menu" to the work panel, double-click on the element, put a tick on "Synchronize with site manager". On the "Style" tab, you can customize the appearance of the buttons and their shape. Then click "OK" and close the button setup. To change the names of the buttons, just right at the top in the manager, right-click on the required page, select "Page properties", and change the column "Name in the menu".

Step 6

To create some kind of content on each page, just find the "Drawing" section in the menu on the right, drag the "Form" item from there to the work area. Having adjusted its size, you can poke twice on the element and adjust other parameters: transparency, roundness of corners, etc. Then again "Standard", select "Text", enter the necessary information, adjust the width and other parameters. The result of the work can be viewed by pressing the F5 button. You can supplement the site with other elements by selecting them from the left panel, placing them on the workspace and customizing them. Among other things, the project can be saved through the "File" menu and uploaded, for example, to the hosting.
