The mail agent provides many options and services for the convenience of communication between its users: there is the possibility of exchanging instant messages, including in the form of pictures or cartoons, making free calls, including video. To do this, the user must have a configured video camera.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to configure the camera in the Agent, try right-clicking on the area where the video signal should be located. In the menu that opens, click the “Settings” option and then go to the tab with the video camera. Check if it is on the list that opens in front of you. If there is one, then just select it and you're done. The webcam is set up!
Step 2
Also, make sure that your webcam is working without an Agent. To do this, just try to photograph something and shoot a video. Turn on the camera and follow the on-screen prompts. If the camera is working properly and everything is functioning normally, then just try to restart the Agent, and then send the photo or video message again.
Step 3
Alternatively, download and install the ActiveX component for the Internet Explorer browser. Just run the link itself in a browser, it can also help in solving this problem.
Step 4
There is a possibility that there is a blocking of port 1935 to the address: fms.mail.ru. To solve this problem, give permission to the Agent for any outgoing connections on this port. Go to "Settings" and check the box in the appropriate section.
Step 5
Please note that if your interlocutor's computer is not equipped with a webcam, while you have one, the interlocutor will not be able to see you.
