Almost everyone is familiar with the feeling of annoyance at the slow download speed of certain heavy files and programs from the Internet. You always want it to happen faster. There are several ways to increase your download rate.

Step 1
The easiest and most convenient way is to use, for example, the "Turbo Button" service (you can often find it on the Internet provider's website). However, this type of service is rather short-term and requires funds in the account.
Step 2
Alternatively, you can use various programs like TCPOptimizer.exe or TCP / IP Booster. Together with the "Turbo Buttons" service, such programs may come in handy while you are being transferred to another tariff or changing the type of connection.
Step 3
Many pages of Internet sites that you open are "weighed down" with all sorts of video clips, soundtracks, animations and all kinds of applications. Just by disabling the download of these multimedia files while opening pages, you can significantly increase the speed of your Internet connection. To do this, in particular in Opera, go to the "Tools" section (at the top of the window, in the menu bar). Further in "Quick settings". With the cursor, click on the arrow opposite the "Quick Settings" panel. Server Manager should open. Next, uncheck what is not needed: animation, sound, plugins, etc.
Step 4
For other browsers, the sequence is as follows. In Enternet Explorer: go step by step to the sections - "Service", "Internet Options", "Advanced", where in the "Multimedia" section uncheck all unnecessary items. Click OK. In Mozilla Firefox: go to Tools, then Settings, Content. Uncheck the box to automatically load images and use JavaScript.
Step 5
Another way to increase the speed of your internet is to change your tariff to a faster one, although it will most likely be more expensive. This can usually be done through your personal account (on the Rostelecom website it is called the “Statistics Server”) or at the office of an Internet provider.
Step 6
In the end, you can change the type of connection - from telephony to switch to getting the Internet not by telephone, but by a dedicated line of FTTx technology, which is simply called "fiber optic". The Internet served this way is both faster and cheaper.
