The convenience of the Torrent system is invaluable - with the help of torrents you can find and download everything from rare films and books to music, software and much more. The only thing that can frustrate torrent users on a regular basis is the slow download speed.
Instructions
Step 1
Start the uTorrent client. In the lower right corner of the screen in the tray you will see a green icon with the letter U. Click on it with the right mouse button and hover the cursor over "Receive Restriction". In the drop-down list, check "Unlimited".
Step 2
Open the client and click on the "Settings" menu bar, then select the "Configuration" section. The program settings window will open. Click on the "Speed" tab in the window that opens. See if there are any values listed under "Limit speed to". The parameter window must be zero.
Step 3
Also, to speed up the download, go to the "Sequence" tab, open the sequence settings and set the number of simultaneous downloads to no more than 5. If your Internet speed is not very high, three simultaneous downloads will be enough. Next, you will see the "Maximum active torrents" item. Enter values between 5 and 15 here.
