When sorting through the heaps of letters on an e-mail box, you can accidentally delete the necessary letters without noticing them. Such letters can always be recovered, even if you deleted them from the mail basket. The main condition is the use of special programs, not the web interface.

Instructions

Step 1

Why, then, working with the web interface of the same mailbox does not allow saving deleted messages? The fact is that when viewing mail on the site, you use information from the message server itself. The program allows you not to delete letters from the server for some time, which is specified in the settings of the mail utility, i.e. in fact, the letters were deleted by you, but their copies are kept as backup.

Step 2

At the moment, many mail services allow you to store a large number of letters. Some offer up to 1 GB of free space, while others offer 7 GB or more. Therefore, before deleting a message, you should think about how much it takes up on the server dedicated to you. The best solution would be to delete emails on your computer.

Step 3

To save messages on the server, you must activate the corresponding option. To do this, click the top menu "Service" in the main window of the program and select the item "Accounts". For your account, check the box for saving mail on the server.

Step 4

By default, most services use POP3 mail delivery. Everything would be fine, but it is this protocol that does not allow saving copies of letters on the server for their subsequent recovery, despite the option set in the settings. Therefore, you need to change POP3 to IMAP.

Step 5

To synchronize all letters that are on the server and on your computer, you need to go to the "Inbox" folder and select all letters. Copy them using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C or Ctrl + Insert. Go to the "Tools" menu, select "IMAP Folder" and paste the copied letters.

Step 6

Now, after deleting an important letter, you just need to go to the IMAP folder and find your lost letter. By means of the program itself, it is possible to restore it by copying it to the old folder.
