Various messages are sent to our e-mail every day. This can be business correspondence, messages from friends, newsletters, or spam. How not to get confused in a large amount of information and what to do if valuable information was deleted from the mailbox along with spam?
Instructions
Step 1
E-mail is built on the analogy with the computer operating system. All folders, files and shortcuts when you click the "Delete" button do not disappear without a trace from our computer, but are placed in a special folder - "Trash". To recover a letter, open the "Trash" on your mailbox. Find the letter you need and highlight it by checking the box next to the sender's address. Check a few letters if necessary. After this action, all the commands you have specified will apply to each selected letter.
Step 2
Click the Move button at the top of the Trash, above the list of emails to be deleted. In the dialog box that opens, select the folder where you want to restore the currently marked messages. Click "OK" to confirm your actions.
Step 3
Check the Trash settings of your mailbox. By default, all messages moved to the "Trash" are deleted after each exit from the mailbox. To be able to recover deleted messages, change the settings so that you manually delete the messages.
Step 4
If you have already deleted the desired letter from the Trash, unfortunately, it cannot be restored. You can ask your interlocutors to send you a copy of the deleted letter, because, most likely, all sent correspondence is saved by users in the "Sent letters" folder.
Step 5
If the sender is unable to send you a copy of the letter, please contact your email technical support. Fill out the appropriate request form and explain your problem. Wait for a response from the administration in a few days. However, don't expect a 100% guaranteed return letter. Thousands of letters pass through the e-mail resource every day, and it will be difficult to restore your correspondence.
