Social networks, mailboxes, various Internet forums have gained extraordinary popularity. More and more people prefer Internet communication. But before starting a conversation with someone on the network, you must pass authorization.

Step 1
Opening a personal page on social networks or forums requires mandatory authorization. Authorization is a confirmation of the identity of the "owner" of the page, it was created to protect the account and personal data of the user. As the activity of cybercriminals increases, and the authorization process becomes more complicated, however, this does not pose a problem for those who remember the data entered during registration on the site.
Step 2
Open the site you want to log in with your name. Find the button "Login" or "Log in", click on it with the left mouse button. Fields for entering personal data will open in front of you. The "Login" field is intended to record the name under which you registered. It doesn't always have to be your real name, or the name that all users see on your homepage. Some sites have replaced the login with an e-mail address, to which a personal page on the site was linked during registration. Enter your e-mail address, not forgetting to indicate the domain on which it is registered.
Step 3
Some sites, for example the social network Vkontakte, provide forgetful users with a choice when logging in: instead of an email address, they can write the cell phone number to which the account is linked. You can safely enter your phone number, because it will be hidden for other users, it is only needed to identify your identity.
Step 4
The next step of authorization will be to enter the password in the next window of a special form. Write the password that you entered when registering in the system. Try to prevent anyone from seeing or remembering your password.
Step 5
If you go to your page from someone else's computer, do not forget to check the box next to the “Someone else's computer” window. The data you entered will now be deleted when you log out.
Step 6
If you open your page from an unfamiliar computer or from another city, the social network activates an additional level of protection. Photos of your friends, as well as strangers, will appear in front of you in random order. In this case, you will have to indicate the names of your acquaintances captured in the photo. Only upon confirmation of your acquaintance with these people will you be able to go to your page.
Step 7
If you have forgotten the username or password specified during registration, contact the site administration for help or answer additional questions by clicking on the "Forgot your password" link.
