An ordinary picture on a forum or blog looks a little bland, especially when you consider that images for avatars tend to be repeated on other sites by completely, it would seem, strangers. All the more unique in such conditions is a userpic that has a signature lovingly created by its own owner.

Necessary

Russified version of Adobe Photoshop CS5

Instructions

Step 1

Open the required image in Adobe Photoshop by pressing the key combination Ctrl + O, selecting the file and clicking "Open".

Step 2

Select the Type tool (hotkey T). On the settings panel of this tool (it is located under the file menu), you can select the font, style, size, color of the inscription, etc. Left-click in the area of the image that will become an approximate place for placing your signature. Basically, you can click in the most visible place, for example, in the middle. The signature can always be moved to any place using a specially available tool for this.

Step 3

Enter the required text from the keyboard, and then click on the checkmark-shaped button located on the right side of the tool's settings panel. This will confirm the creation of the text layer.

Step 4

If you are not satisfied with the size of the label, call the free transform command. This can be done in two ways. The first and fastest is to press the key combination Ctrl + T. Second - click the menu item "Edit"> "Free Transform". The lettering will frame a frame with transparent square markers. Use these handles to change the size and proportion of the text. If you want to keep the proportions of the decal unchanged, hold down Shift before moving the marker. The inscription can be rotated. To do this, move the cursor a little further away from any corner marker and wait for the cursor to take the shape of an arched arrow. Then hold down the left mouse button and move it to tilt the label. When finished with the transformation, press Enter.

Step 5

To save a userpic, click the "File"> "Save As" menu item (or click the Ctrl + Shift + S hotkeys), in the menu that appears, define the path for the future file, enter a name for it, specify Jpeg in the "Files of type" field and click "Save".
