After entering the account parameters from the e-mail box, their memorization is possible both in cookies and in the settings of the browser itself. If other people use the same computer, you should take steps to prevent them from gaining access to the box.
Instructions
Step 1
If, after entering your username and password and then pressing the "Login" button, the browser prompts you to save the password (by displaying a dialog box or the bar under the address bar), select the option corresponding to the prohibition of saving (for example, "Do not save"). Some browsers also offer an option to stop displaying this dialog on subsequent visits to the same site (in the form of a "Never for this site" button or similar). Then choose this option.
Step 2
To prevent such requests from ever appearing when using both mail services and any other sites that require authorization, disable the password remembering in your browser. The way to disable this feature depends on which browser you are using. For example, in the desktop version of Opera: "Settings" - "General settings" - the "Forms" tab - uncheck the "Enable password management" checkbox. In the UC mobile browser, you can disable remembering passwords as follows: Settings - Preferences - Security tab - Never Save in the Login Record field.
Step 3
Remembering the password can also be done in cookies. To prevent this from happening, when entering the account settings, check the box "Someone else's computer" or "Do not remember", or uncheck the box "Remember me" (depending on which e-mail service you use).
Step 4
After completing your work with mail, be sure to follow the "Exit" link. Failure to do so may result in automatic logout after extended periods of inactivity, but this is not guaranteed. In addition, not all postal services have an automatic logout feature.
Step 5
In case you forgot to disable saving passwords in cookies, delete these files manually. To do this, you do not have to look for the folder where the browser stores such files. You can also delete them using the browser itself. For example, in Opera: "Settings" - "General settings" - "Advanced" tab - "Cookies" vertical list item - "Manage cookies" button - select the desired site in the list - "Delete" button.
