Surely you have already encountered a situation in which a hard disk malfunction occurs. The biggest problem in this case can be the loss of important information, such as family photos. If you have duplicated photos on removable media, this is good, but they also let the owner down over time.

Step 1
The best solution for preserving your digital photo collections might be to use Google's Picasa service. You need to register on the Google website, i.e. get email. In exchange, you will have access to dozens of useful services, including the social network Google+ and the lifetime (free) storage service Picasa.
Step 2
After confirming your registration, you will receive a message with a list of all the possibilities of new services to your new email address. It makes no sense to create your own profile in Picasa, because a single account is used for all services. Go to the following link https://picasaweb.google.com and enter the personal data provided during registration.
Step 3
On your profile page, create a new photo album where you can upload a large number of photos. To do this, click the Download button in the top tabbed bar. On the loaded page, change the value of the "Album:" field, by default this value = today's date, for example, December 12, 2012.
Step 4
The album will be created after adding photos to it. To perform this action, click the "Select files on your computer" button in the middle of the open window. In the file selection window that appears, select the required files and click the "Open" button.
Step 5
After a while, all images will be uploaded to the newly created directory. Click the "OK" button to close the form for adding photos. To view the downloaded images, you must click the "My Photos" tab and select a new album. By default, the new directory is closed for unauthorized viewing.
Step 6
To open shared access and allow other users to view pictures from this folder, you must open the album and select Properties from the Actions menu. In the window that opens, go to the "Display" block and select the "For everyone on the Internet" option. Then click the "Save Changes" button.
