Today, you can see the emergence of many programs for messaging, as well as for creating video conferencing. Among other applications, there are always several leaders, for example, Skype, for which you may need to perform sound settings.
Instructions
Step 1
Find the shortcut to launch the program on the desktop and double-click on it with the left mouse button. In the user authentication window that opens, enter your username and password. After the main program window appears, go to the sound settings, for which click "Tools", select "Settings", then "Sound settings".
Step 2
You can configure each device individually. If you want to adjust the sound at the microphone, check if the plug in the system unit is inserted into the corresponding socket. If you are using a laptop, you may skip this step, because the microphone is already built-in there.
Step 3
In the Microphone section, select the desired device. To set the desired volume, say something into the microphone. If the volume is sufficient, do not move the slider. Slide it to the right if the volume is low, and to the left if it is high.
Step 4
Uncheck the box next to "Allow automatic microphone settings" if you will use the settings all the time. Now start setting up your headphones. Check if speakers are connected. You should have heard some sound when setting up the microphone. If not, check if the columns are fixed, if the connection is normal. Note that the green plug must fit into the same color.
Step 5
Select in the block called "Speakers" the device responsible for sound output. Be very careful as some sound cards separate the sound going to headphones or speakers. Choose a gentle device.
Step 6
Adjust the output sound in the same way as for the microphone volume. Just uncheck the item titled "Auto speaker setup" and click "OK".
Step 7
Check if you did everything correctly by making a test call to the contact with the Echo login.
