Few people like to listen to advertising noises, and turning off the sound on a computer is inconvenient if it is required during use. In this case, you must turn off the sound in the Internet browser. The Opera browser, whose attractiveness is due not only to its multifunctionality, but also to its ease of use, is one of the most popular programs for opening web pages. At the same time, the mute algorithm in the Opera is as simple as the program itself. Click on the Internet browser icon and go to the "Programs" section, there find the "Settings" subsection and its internal "General settings" tab. As soon as the general settings window appears on the screen, click on the "Advanced" item and open the "Content" link in the left menu of the page. Uncheck the box next to "Enable sound on web pages" and the browser audio will disappear.

If for some reason the Opera browser cannot be used and Internet Explorer is used to search for information, the sound problem can also be eliminated through the program settings. Only in this situation, use the "Service" section in the Internet browser menu. Opening the "Tools" section, select "Internet Options" and click on the "Advanced" tab. Then look through the list of subsections, among which find the item "Multimedia" and uncheck the box next to the function "Play sounds on web pages".

The third most popular Internet browser used instead of Opera is Mozilla Firefox. If the information site with the commercial is open in Mozilla, find the "Tools" section in the top menu of the program and go to the "Settings" subsection.
