Many parents, if not the vast majority, would agree that closing the sex education gap should be done in special classes, not by visiting hot sites. Fortunately, all popular browsers have functionality for blocking domains (including the XXX format), and Internet Explorer is no exception.

Internet Explorer browser

Instructions

Step 1

Open your Internet Explorer browser. If there is no main menu, right-click on the space next to the open tab and in the menu that appears, select the topmost line - "Menu bar". Keep in mind that if you click on the tab itself, a completely different menu will open. Now click on the menu item "Tools" and then "Internet Options".

Step 2

In the window that appears, select the "Content" tab, find the "Access Restriction" section and click on the "Enable" button. In the new window, select the Allowed Sites tab.

Step 3

Enter the name of the allowed domain in the "Allow next site view" field and click the "Always" button. It is worth clarifying here that the site blocking system in Internet Explorer works only on a "white sheet" basis. Those. will be allowed to visit all allowed domains, all others are considered prohibited by default. Accordingly, adding a site to the list as prohibited (using the "Never" button) does not make any sense. This is apparently a miscalculation of the developers.

Step 4

Click on the General tab. If you want the site not only to be blocked, but when you try to enter it, you are prompted to enter a password, check the box next to "Allow password entry to view prohibited sites."

Step 5

Click the Apply button. A new window will appear in which you will be asked to set a password for access to the site blocking settings and write a hint to it. This password will be used in the future to enable / disable blocking, as well as to enter prohibited sites and blocking settings. You can change this password at any time by clicking on the “Change Password” button, which is located on the “General” tab in the “Access Password” section.

Step 6

To close the browser and blocking settings windows, click OK in each window.
