In an effort to protect their accounts from intruders, Internet users often forget their own dodgy account passwords themselves. If such a nuisance happened to you, and you cannot remember the password for entering the mailbox on Rambler, access will have to be restored.
Instructions
Step 1
Follow the link "Forgot your password" located on the account login page - https://mail.rambler.ru/ or https://www.rambler.ru/. In the form fields on the page that opens, enter the address of the mailbox to which you want to restore access. Be careful: the address must be entered in full, with the domain name and the "@" sign.
Step 2
Enter the Captcha verification code shown on the page. If you cannot make out the symbols of the code, click on the link below to change the picture. After entering all the characters, click on the "Continue" button.
Step 3
Type in the field provided for this in the form that opens the correct answer to the security question that you set when registering this mailbox. Click on the "Continue" button. If the answer does not work, please try again. Be careful: the answer should be entered in the most exact accordance with the way you entered it during registration, including case-sensitive.
Step 4
Enter the new password to your mailbox in the fields on the page that opens, and you can log into your account from the start page in the usual way. If you failed to provide the correct answer to the security question, please contact the Rambler technical support service.
Step 5
Go to https://help.rambler.ru/feedback.html?s=mail and describe your problem in the feedback form. Please note: you will need to provide a valid email address to which you have access, otherwise you will not be able to receive a response to your request. If you do not have an alternative e-mail, you can immediately create it in the Rambler postal service if you click on the corresponding link.
Step 6
Do not forget to indicate in the text of your appeal to the support service the address of the mailbox to which you have lost access. And also write down all the data that you provided when registering an account: name, date of birth, password (as you remember it), security question and answer to it (as you remember them) and so on.
Step 7
Please be patient - you may have to wait a few days for a response from Rambler support. Be prepared to also answer a number of clarifying questions. For example, you may be asked to list the names of folders in your mailbox, your usual IP address and information about the provider, information about the icq account linked to the mailbox, and much more.
