Step 1
Choose one of the free servers to create your email. Currently, there are more and more of them every day, but the most popular are gmail.com, mail.ru, mail.rambler.ru, yandex.ru, pochta.ru. In order to register your mail, you need to go to the registration form for one of the specified services. Come up with a login for your e-mail. It must be unique, so many people won't be able to guess right the first time. Before naming your mail, also think about what it is for you. If for work, then it is unacceptable to use comic or obscene phrases.
Step 2
Fill out the registration form with your personal data. You will also need to come up with and remember the security question and answer. This is necessary in case you forget your mailbox password or someone breaks it. Come up with a password for your mail. It must be at least 6 characters long and consist of a combination of letters and numbers.

Complete the mailbox registration procedure. From now on, you can safely use email. However, for more comfort, it is recommended to change the settings to suit your needs. Select Preferences from the mail toolbar. In the "Appearance" section, you can change the color and theme of the mail window. In the "Sender Information" section, enter your details and set an avatar or photo. Some services allow you to collect mail from other mailboxes.

To do this, go to the appropriate section and enter your e-mail and password from the mail. Check the "Security" section, where you can enter your phone number and address in case access is restored. Also, here you can configure some additional functions that protect your mail from hacking.
Step 5
Configure Microsoft Outlook Express, which is included with the Windows operating system. Click on "Start" and select an application from the list of programs. Select "Add mail" and fill in all the necessary information to configure the application for your account on the mail service. As a result, you will be able to use mail without launching your browser.
