The need to forward letters from one mailbox to another may be required for various reasons. Whatever this reason may be, setting up mail forwarding on the Yandex mail service is not difficult - you need to follow a few steps to do this.
Instructions
Step 1
To set up mail forwarding, enter your mailbox on the Yandex mail service by entering the appropriate username and password. Go to mail settings. This can be done by clicking on the "Settings" link located in the upper right part of the window just below your mailbox address.
Step 2
In the settings window, select the "Mail processing rules" section by clicking on the link line with the left mouse button. On the page that opens, you will be asked to create a rule according to which incoming mail will be processed and sent to the email address you specified. Click the "Create Rule" button to start setting up forwarding.
Step 3
On the first line of the rule, specify which letters should be forwarded to another mailbox. The default is: "Apply to all emails, except for spam with attachments and without attachments." To set other parameters, click on the "Change" inscription located at the end of the sentence.
Step 4
In the “If” field, select the “From” line in the drop-down list, in the next drop-down list, set “Same with”, in the empty field, enter the address of the mailbox in which you are now. In the "Perform action" section, put a marker in front of the line "Forward to address", in the empty field enter the address of the mailbox to which incoming letters will be forwarded. If you want a copy of the letter to remain in the current mailbox, select the "Save a copy when forwarding" checkbox. Click the New Rule button.
Step 5
After you have created the rule, go to the inbox in the mailbox to which you have set up forwarding. Open the letter you just received called "Confirmation of the email address for the Yandex. Mail service." To confirm the rule created for forwarding, follow the link contained in the letter.
Step 6
In the window that opens with the text “Someone, perhaps you yourself, has created a rule for forwarding messages from Yandex. Mail to your address. To activate the rule, confirmation of the owner of the mailbox from which the transfer will be made is required”, click the“Enable rule”button.
