To start working on any site, you need to select an engine and install it on the hosting. There are never any problems with the choice of the engine. There are solutions for a specific type of site. You just need to find out how to put your site on the server.
Instructions
Step 1
Upload the file to the hosting directly from the page in the browser. To do this, open the "File Manager" line in the hosting control panel, follow the link. In the window that opens, which displays the directories on the hosting, go to the "public html" folder and click "Download". A window will appear on the screen where you need to select a file to upload to hosting. Click the Upload button. This way you can download the files without launching additional programs.
Step 2
To download a large number of files, first place the directories or the files themselves in the archives. There are hosters that support unpacking archives of almost any format (zip, tar, tar.gz, tar.bz2, rar). To do this, create an archive on your computer in one of the formats. Upload it to the required directory on the hosting in one file. Here, mark it with a checkbox and click the "Unzip" link, having previously selected a folder for this. In this way, you can upload the entire packed site engine to the hosting and deploy it.
Step 3
Use the method for filling the engine without archiving. To do this, get access via FTP. Connect to the hosting server using special FTP client programs or Total Commander file manager. Connection parameters are issued when registering a hosting account. From the main menu, click "Connect to FTP Server". A list of available FTP connections will appear on the screen. Click the "Add" item, enter the FTP server address, username and password. Copy files to this window in the usual way. With this, you can download files from the hosting back to your computer. In Total Commander, you can delete, rename files and change their permissions located on the hosting. Save all settings, and you will no longer need to go to the control panel every time to upload new files.
