People go to the Internet for information, searching for materials of interest to them every day. Therefore, it makes sense to create a search engine on the site, giving users the ability to quickly find what they need on hand-selected resources.

Instructions
Step 1
Start building a custom search engine powered by Google technologies. Log in to the search engine management service panel. In the browser, open the page with the address https://www.google.ru/cse/. Use your Google account to work with the system. Click on the "Create user search system" button. If you are not logged in at the moment, click on the "Login" link. Enter the data from your account in the form and click the "Login" button. If you do not have a shared Google account, create one by clicking on the "Create an account now" link and following the suggested steps
Step 2
Enter the basic parameters of the custom search system you are creating. Fill in the "Name" and "Description" fields, select the interface language in the "Language" drop-down list. In the "Sites to search" text box, enter the list of resources, information from which will be presented in the search results using the system being created. Click "Next".
Step 3
Configure the display settings for the search results. On the current page, click on the block with the image of an example of the issue that best suits the style. Click the Configure button. Set the preferred colors of interface elements on the tabs "Global Styles", "Search Bar", "Results", "Advertising". Check the correctness of the entered parameters. In the search form below, enter a test query. Click on the "Search" button. Make sure that the look of the search engine you are creating suits you. Click "Next".
Step 4
Get the javascript code to install the search engine on the site. Select all content in the text box on the current page. Copy the selected content to the clipboard and save it to some temporary file.
Step 5
Create a search engine on the site. Add the code from the previous step to the content of the resource pages. You can edit the templates or files of the current theme to add the search form to the page group. Alternatively, you can create a separate page that will present the search engine.
Step 6
Make sure the added search engine is working. Open the page containing the search form. Make a test query. Check the correctness of the output of the results.
