There are situations when you need to explain to someone how a particular program or site works, but it is rather difficult to convey all the actions in words. An inexperienced user can be helped if both he and you install the TeamViewer program. It allows you to see a friend's desktop on the screen and use it as your own using a mouse and keyboard.
It is necessary
- Free TeamViewer software.
- You may need RAdmin (for file transfer).
Instructions
Step 1
TeamViewer is free if not used commercially. Download it on both computers (https://www.teamviewer.com) and install, select “personal / non-commercial use” during installation
The server computer is the main computer to which the connection will be made. And the client is the computer from which the connection call is made.
Step 2
Run the program after installation and find the “ID” column. It contains your personal code (identifier), which the program automatically assigns to the PC. The “Password” field contains the password. The password is generated automatically each time the program is started and a new one every time.
Step 3
After launching the program on the server, we launch it on the client. At the bottom of the program there should be the phrase “Ready to connect”. If the phrase appears, the server informs the client about its data (“ID” and “Password”) by any communication channel.
The user who is at the client computer enters “ID” in the right part of the program, points to the “Remote support” item and presses “Connect to partner”.
Step 4
After a few seconds, depending on the connection speed, the client computer will be prompted for a password. After entering, you will see the desktop of the second computer and will be able to control it through the Windows shell.
