Social networks and some sites provide the ability to subscribe to a page of a person or community to quickly receive their updates and news. If desired, the user can unsubscribe from the subscription.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the page of the user, service or community you want to unsubscribe from. Find the corresponding button on the website that opens. It will be located under the user's avatar or group photo. Some sites put an "unsubscribe" button at the very bottom of the page and keep it as small as possible to reduce the loss of their subscribers. Study the site carefully and unsubscribe from it in an accessible way.
Step 2
Pay attention to the list of current subscriptions, which is usually found on your profile page. Click on it to see an expanded view, and see if there are function buttons opposite the name of each subscription. Among them there should be an item "Unsubscribe", by clicking on which, you will take the necessary action.
Step 3
Review the site-specific manual and user agreement. They may contain information on how to unsubscribe from certain pages, and sometimes the function key itself is also located here, which is responsible for canceling a previously issued subscription.
Step 4
Check your email address specified when registering on the site. Quite often, the addresses of new users are placed in the subscriber base, and they start receiving news and various notifications from the service. Open any of the received emails and find the "Unsubscribe" button at the very bottom of the text. Click on it and follow the instructions.
Step 5
Contact the administration of the resource with a request to exclude you from this or that mailing list. Some sites that do not want to part with their subscribers in any way provide only such an opportunity to stop receiving information from them. After a while, you will receive a response with a notification that you have successfully unsubscribed from the mailing list.
