There are various blogging counters. Since a blog is primarily a social tool, its popularity is determined not only by the number of visitors, but also by subscribers, and more recently by followers. You can create a counter for your blog using special services.
Instructions
Step 1
The counter of visits can be set thanks to one or several services that take into account the traffic going to the sites. These are sites such as
rating.openstat.ru, and many others (they can be found through a Google search). After registering on the site, you will be asked to add a blog, select the format of the counter, the data to display on it, as well as the color and shape. After that, you will be given an HTML code that you need to add to the page code in the place where you want to install a banner with a counter. If you are using the popular blogging platform Wordpress, you can add the Text widget and enter the counter code into it, and then place it in one of the columns of the site. The hit counters usually show the number of page views and unique visitors for the last day, month, for all time
Step 2
Feedburner is responsible for the number of subscribers and regular readers of the blog. A high rate of such a counter encourages advertisers to work with your blog. To get a Feedburner counter, you need to register with Google and add the blog to your Feedburner account: https://feedburner.google.com After selecting Russian in the Languages tab, go to the feed settings, select the blog address and go to the Publish tab. There you can also find color and animation settings for your subscriber counter, as well as the actual embed code in the HTML code of the page
Step 3
Recently, the social network Twitter has become popular. You can also display the number of your Twitter followers (followers) on your blog. To do this, use the TwitterCounter service: https://twittercounter.com In the special window on the site, enter your Twitter account login and click the Show button. The screen will display statistics and a graph of subscriptions to your account. Click the Get more followers: Add TwitterCounter to your site, blog or social network button to get the code to embed the counter in the HTML of the page.
