Account on the site "Yandex. Metrica"
Instructions
Step 1
Of the above services, you can use all of them at once, but, as a rule, it is superfluous - just install one of them. The Yandex. Metrica service is an excellent help. To register, follow this link https://metrika.yandex.ru. If you have an activated Yandex email account, there is no point in re-registering.
Step 2
On the main page of the service, pay attention to the top menu bar, it contains all the commands that will be useful to you in working with the statistics of your site. Click the Add Counter link. On the "General" tab, enter the name of the counter (it is important if there are several counters), indicate the address of your site without "https://" and, if any, specify the mirrors for the entered address.
Step 3
At the bottom of the open tab, check the box next to "Notify me about problems with the site" and choose any option: by e-mail or via short sms messages. Then check the box "I accept the terms …" and click the "Continue" button.
Step 4
In the next tab, as a rule, all the marked settings are already optimized. It is recommended to add a mark on the "Informer" item. And on the right side of the screen, click the "Configure informer" link. Select the type of informer and the appropriate colors, then click the "Save" button.
Step 5
Copy the counter code and paste it into your website code. It is recommended to insert the script itself between the body tags, and place the counter code where you would like to see it, preferably closer to the end of the page, since not every visitor looks through the material to the end.
Step 6
A few hours later, on your profile page "Yandex. Metrica" statistics collected during the time the script was in the files of your site will be displayed. You can also make several "thermal zones", according to the results of which you can track the sections of your project that are weak in terms of attendance.
