The need for an external IP address may appear when downloading information from a server that controls downloads and connections from one address. To get around this, you can use a special proxy server.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a few tweaks to completely change the IP address and make it public. Open your browser and enter "proxy server" in the search bar. Don't expect to find a proxy server offering free services right away. Most often, these services are paid. Choose the option that suits you.
Step 2
Select an intermediary server on the Internet. For example, the site https://proxy-besplatno.com/ has a list of various western proxy servers. Look at the fields in the table: they contain the required parameters. The list is updated every day. Browse all proxies and select the fastest.
Step 3
Open your browser settings. In Opera, this is the Preferences item in the Settings section on the left side of the window, find the Network item and left-click on it. At the top of the window, select Proxy Servers. Depending on the version, as well as the manufacturer of the browser, the menu items may look slightly different.
Step 4
Fill in the required fields in the window using the data of the selected proxy server. The server name uses numbers separated by dots into four blocks. You will also need a proxy port. Click "Ok" and exit the settings. Don't expect everything to work out right the first time, as many providers restrict access to various proxies. Make sure your internet connection is properly established. In the absence of access, you will have to choose another, working proxy server.
Step 5
Also use a proxy server to bypass site restrictions regarding the country from which the user is requesting. Some sites may not be able to download files if your computer is not located in a specific region. Thus, using a proxy server is one of the easiest ways to obtain an external IP address.
