An increasing number of communities, groups and public pages appear on social networks every day. The only way to survive this fierce struggle for user attention is to design the group menu in a convenient and aesthetic way. So that even an inexperienced user can intuitively understand how to find exactly what he needs. There is a special wiki markup to decorate the menus in groups, one of the functions of which is to make the font bold (or, more correctly, bold).
It is necessary
- - access to the Internet;
- - VKontakte account;
- - administrator rights in a group, community or public page on VKontakte.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the VKontakte start page and log in using your username and password.
Step 2
Go to the "My Groups" section. Switch to the "Management" tab. It is located at the top of the page and opens a list of all communities in which you have administrative functions.
Step 3
Find the community you would like to change in the list. If you are an administrator of a large number of groups, use the search box.
Step 4
Go to the community page and find the "Community Management" link under the avatar. Click on it, the menu for managing and editing the page will open.
Step 5
Open the "Information" tab of the management menu and make sure that the "Materials" item has the "Connected" status. Save your changes and return to the community by clicking on the appropriate link in the upper left corner of the page.
Step 6
The link "Latest news" appeared under the description and location of the group. Move the cursor over it, the "Edit" button will appear next to it, click on it.
Step 7
Copy the text that you would like to place on the community page into the window that opens.
Step 8
Mark the word or phrase you would like to bold by inserting tags at the beginning and at the end. For example, if you write "Fresh news", then only the word "Fresh" will be highlighted in bold, and by writing "Fresh news" you will highlight the whole phrase.
Step 9
Instead of tags and in a similar way, you can use the triple apostrophe "'' '".
Step 10
In the lower left corner of the page, find the "Preview" link. Make sure that everything turned out exactly as you intended, and save the page by clicking on the button of the same name.
