Millions of people around the world are registered on the VKontakte social network. Communication on the site has become almost a daily necessity, however, if you wish, you can delete your page at any time and return to the “real world”.
Instructions
Step 1
Log in to your profile on the VKontakte social network using your username and password. Go to the "My Settings" menu on the left side of the page. Select the General tab and scroll down to the bottom. At the very bottom of the page, in small print, you will see a link "You can delete your page."
Step 2
Click the link. Optionally, specify the reason for deleting the page and take the action. Please note that when you delete a page, your posts, posts and replies in groups and discussions, as well as on the pages of other users, will remain, however, with a note that your page is inactive. You can also restore the page within 7 months after clicking on the delete link. To do this, just go to the site again using your username and password, and then click "Restore page".
Step 3
You can deactivate your page instead of deleting it. To do this, delete all your photos, including your avatar, wall posts, music tracks, videos, and personal information. Clear your friends and followers lists. To speed up the corresponding actions, use special scripts that can be found on the Internet. Your page will become "clean" as it was during registration. Now it is enough not to use it for several months for the administration to remove it on its own. Make sure your page has a long and strong password, otherwise it can be hacked by intruders and used to send spam.
Step 4
The page of the user "VKontakte" can be banned and permanently deleted by the administration of the resource. This will happen if you send spam, add prohibited video and audio recordings, and perform other actions prohibited on the site. However, you shouldn't violate the rights of other users and use such a radical method of “logging out” from the social network.
