YouTube is a free video hosting service that stores, plays, distributes and edits videos uploaded to the channels of registered users. All actions are carried out through the control panel, the study of the functions of which opens up endless possibilities.
In addition to watching videos, YouTube provides ample opportunities for working with media files. These are uploading videos to hosting, downloading, editing, creating slideshows, adding audio files and links to a video, and much more. Sometimes it becomes necessary to remove a video. You can do this in different ways, depending on what you want to delete: a video from a playlist, a playlist as a whole, or your own media file.
A playlist is an ordered collection of media files prepared for playback.
Removing videos from a playlist
After logging into your Google account, visit your YouTube channel page. In the main menu, click on the "Playlists" link. Here select the playlist you will work with. If you click on the name of the playlist, the editing page will open, where the playlist will be decomposed into the files included in it. Move the cursor to the line of the video that you are going to delete, and click on the cross that appears on the right of this line. File deleted.
Through a Google account, you can access a number of services, including Google+, mail, YouTube, Blogger and others.
When selecting a playlist, you can also click on its image. In this case, the playback page will open, where the list of incoming files is located to the right of the media player. Move the cursor over the file and click on the cross to delete it. If the file is uploaded personally by the owner of the youtube channel and is in the category "my videos", then after being removed from the playlist it will still remain on the hosting.
Deleting a playlist
To delete a playlist, click on its name, then on the "Playlist settings" window and here in the window that opens, click on "Delete playlist".
Deleting your own media
You can delete your own media files through the "Video Manager". The link to it is located at the top of the main page, in the settings window, and also on the video viewing page under the media player. By clicking on the link, open the "My Videos" page. Here select the files to be deleted. Open the window under the menu item "actions" and click "delete". To delete all files at the same time, check the box to the left of the menu and do the same as with the separately selected files. If you need to delete one specific file, click on the arrow in the "edit" window next to the desired file and select "Delete" in the window that opens.
