Social networks have become a great opportunity for many Internet users to expand their social circle. By participating in forums and chats, leaving comments on blogs and posts, people express their points of view. Many other users can enter into dialogue, agree or argue. The result of such communication may be a message that you receive about the proposed friendship. Acceptance of an offer of friendship on different social networks can be almost the same.
Instructions
Step 1
You can receive a message with an offer of friendship by e-mail and on your page in any social network where you registered your account. You will see the standard message that a user with such and such a nickname (a name registered on the network) has sent you a message asking you to include him as a friend. Before doing this, we advise you to familiarize yourself with the profile of this person in order to exclude openly advertising mailings and so-called "bots", communication with which will give you nothing.
Step 2
Go to the personal page - the profile of this person. It contains information about the user that he indicated when registering with this social network. To go to it, just click on the username. Check out the information that this person saw fit to share about himself. If he is not familiar to you and you did not find any common topics for contact in his profile, then perhaps there is no particular point in such a friendship and the offer of it can simply be rejected or ignored.
Step 3
If the user turns out to be your acquaintance or his interests indicated in the profile are also close to you, then you may have a desire to respond to the offer of friendship and become mutual friends. This status will allow both of you to maintain two-way communication and read each other's “friend-only” messages.
Step 4
Go to your page on the social network in which the person who offered you friendship is registered. Usually, to view all such messages, you need to find on the menu bar the button "Friends", "My friends", "Alerts" or something similar. By clicking on it, go to the page where the list with the received offers of friendship is displayed. Highlight the entry with the nickname whose offer you want to accept and click on the "Accept" or "Accept offer" button, which is located below. If you do not want to include this person among your friends, it will be enough to select the entry with his nickname and click the "Decline" button.
