Communities, or groups - associations of people in a social network or blogosphere on the basis of common interests: profession, hobbies, sports, music, etc. Some communities are created as a PR move in support of a certain film novelty or other short-term project, at the end of which the community must be closed. There are other reasons for deleting a community: loss of an administrator account, hacking, loss of audience, etc.

Step 1
In the VKontakte social network, to close the community, simply delete all information from it: photo albums, video files, audio recordings, discussions. Do not forget to remove information about the community itself (in the settings), including the name, and "expel" all participants from there. The community must be completely empty.
Step 2
To delete a community on the LiveJournal blog platform, open the Account Status page (https://www.livejournal.com/accountstatus.bml). Select the status "Deleted" and save your selection. On the next page, optionally indicate the reason for the deletion
Step 3
To close the community on the social network “Facebook”, delete all members and all information from there, then go to the main page. Select the command “Leave and delete group” from the right menu, confirm the choice.
