Step 1
To make a picture on the site, upload the image to the site file storage. Files can be uploaded to the site using the "file manager" or via ftp. For specific instructions on uploading files, contact your hosting provider (whoever hosts your site).
Step 2
After downloading the picture, find out the link to it. The link to your picture will look like this: http: ⁄ ⁄ website / img1.jpg. If you found a picture on the Internet and know the link to it, you can, of course, use such a link; but it is better to save this picture and upload it to your site through the "file manager", since when you delete a picture from another site, it will not be displayed on your resource either.
Step 3
When you get the link to the picture you want, paste it between the quotes in the following HTML code:. You should get the following construction:. Instead of "http: ⁄ ⁄ website / img1.jpg" there should be a link to your picture. This entry must be placed in the correct place in the HTML code of your site.
Step 4
If the image on the site needs to be adjusted in size, then in the HTML code, specify the desired width and height of the image. The view record indicates the width of the image in pixels, and the record indicates the height of the image in pixels, where the number in quotes is the number of pixels. The general code of the image with the specified dimensions looks like this:. Replace the numbers in the code with the desired width and height of the image.
Step 5
It is not superfluous to indicate the name of the image so that when viewing the site in the mode without images, the visitor can understand what images are present on the site.
