Step 1
You can upload a photo to someone else's resource only if it provides such an opportunity, for example, to put an image as an avatar. Often restrictions are placed on such pictures and illustrations exceeding the specified size cannot be uploaded. To reduce the weight of the photo, it must be processed in a graphics editor, including Adobe Photoshop.
Step 2
Open the image using the Open As command, then select Adobe Photoshop. In the "Images" menu go to "Image size", set the new parameters, click "OK".
Step 3
Make sure to check the box "Maintain aspect ratio", otherwise you will end up with an unformatted picture. Save the result, and then check the finished file in the "Properties" section for compliance with the requirements of the selected resource.
Step 4
Go to the section for uploading images on the desired site, select the edited image and confirm your choice. The photo will upload successfully.
Step 5
If you have access to the content management system, then you can upload an image of any acceptable size and format. First, upload the picture to a special folder for storing graphic components. Then write the address to it in the code or use the adapted menu.
Step 6
To do this, create a new material, in the editing menu, click on the image loading icon, select the desired photo and set additional attributes (length indicators, width, presence of a frame, padding values, etc.).
