A photograph can tell much more about you and about your activities than a whole text - which is why there are many more visual images on the web than text descriptions. No site is complete without uploaded photos and images, especially when it comes to social networks, in which the publication of photos and the exchange of comments on photos is one of the main means of communication between users. In this article, you will learn how to properly upload photos to social networking sites.
Instructions
Step 1
Photos should be properly prepared for uploading - if their size is too large, reduce it to reduce the time it takes to upload photos to the server. You can reduce a photo using any graphics editor - Photoshop, Picture Manager, ACDSee, and others.
Step 2
On the site you want to upload a photo to, find the image upload section. Click the Browse button to open the Explorer window.
Step 3
Find the folder on your computer that stores the photos to download. You can either load all photos at once by selecting them while holding down the Ctrl key, or load photos one by one.
Step 4
Select a photo from the list, making it easier to find it using the thumbnail view of the folder, which allows you to see all photos in thumbnail format, and then, with the photo selected, click the Open button.
Step 5
The path to your photo will appear in the "Browse" line. After that press the "Upload" button to upload the photo to the server.
Step 6
Wait for the upload to finish and then check if the photo has uploaded to the site. It should appear in a thumbnail preview - in edit mode, you can add a title to the photo and mark the people present on it.
Step 7
The uploaded photo, if you do not want its presence on the server, can be deleted at any time - open your photo album on the site and select the “Delete” checkbox next to the desired photo.
Step 8
In the album, you can swap photos, set one of them as the album cover, and also upload an unlimited number of new images in the above way.
