If you do not want to use the phone number to which your page on the VKontakte social network is linked, or you need to change it, you can unlink the number from your page. This can be done in two ways.

Step 1
First, make sure that your page has been linked to an email address. To do this, go to your page (https://vk.com) and in the "My Settings" section, select the "Alerts" tab. At the bottom of the tab, you will see the entry "Email Alerts". Check if there is an e-mail for notifications (if the page is not tied to an e-mail address, the phone number cannot be unlinked).
Step 2
To delete your phone number, visit this link: https://vk.com/deact.php. Enter the number you want to unlink from the page.
Step 3
After that, you will receive a message by phone with a code that must be entered in a special field in the "Disable alerts" window. If the SMS does not come within 15 minutes, please request the code again by clicking on the appropriate link, or try again later.
Step 4
After deleting the phone number, in order to access the page, you need to specify the email address to which your page is linked as a login. However, when using the page without an associated number, there is one not very pleasant moment: you will constantly receive reminders about binding a phone number.
Step 5
You can untie the number before deleting the page (just deleting is not enough, since the number will remain attached to it), or link it to another page or use it when registering on the VKontakte social network.
Step 6
You can also change the old mobile phone number listed on your page, if you have access to it. To do this, go to the "My Settings" section, select the "General" tab and in the "Your phone number" item, where the current number is displayed, click "Change phone number". Then enter a new number in the window that appears.
Step 7
After that, an SMS with a confirmation code will be sent to two numbers (old and new). The phone number will change after entering the codes on the VKontakte page.
Step 8
If you do not have access to your old phone number (for example, you lost your SIM card), you can untie it on the page to restore access:
