The emule program is also called "donkey" or "donkey". It is intended for the exchange of large files. Its advantage is that the "donkey" does not have to find the entire file, he can download it piece by piece from different sources, and then put all the fragments together. Step 1
Install the "donkey" and wait while it connects to some server. This is usually seen in the lower right corner. If this is your first time turning on emule, you may have to wait a while. However, the wait should not be too long. If half an hour has passed and the "donkey" has not started working, check the settings. The subtleties are indicated in the "Help". Some providers specifically close ports, so you need to check the box where it says "use additional ports".
Step 2
Exit to the "Search" page. There you will see several windows. In one of them, you must enter the approximate name of the file. If you know the exact name, the chances of finding the one you want are increased.
Step 3
Select a search option. If you do not pay attention to this, the program will use the server to which it is connected. Not the fact that there is what you need, so select "Global Search" - Global Search. You will have about a hundred servers at your disposal.
Step 4
Please note that not all icons are understood by emule. For example, the program doesn't like parentheses, question marks, asterisks, and periods, so try to avoid these characters. Spaces and underscores do not interfere with the process. Additional information is usually indicated in square brackets.
Step 5
On the same page, you will see a drop-down menu, which indicates the file types - "Video", "Audio", "Archives", etc. Select the one you want. If you do not know exactly in what form the album you need exists on the networks, check "All files". However, in the latter case, the search engine can offer you a huge number of files with similar names. Time loss can be avoided by specifying the extension.
Step 6
Enter the names in the language in which you want the file to be. If this did not give a tangible result, type the name in transliteration or in English and add the keyword [rus].
Step 7
You can also specify the estimated file sizes - for example, min = 500. max = 700. This will narrow the search area somewhat. This is usually not required, but if there are a lot of files, it can significantly help you choose the right one.
Step 8
Sorting the servers doesn't really matter much if you're looking for popular files. The program will give you a whole list on the fly. If you need something more exotic, sort by the number of files.
Step 9
When you get a list of files, choose the one with the most files. The program can download from several sources. An active link can be highlighted in a different color. It depends on the settings of the "donkey".
