The system administrator at work can block the link to the site at the request of the management, who does not want employees to visit third-party resources. Or parents who want to protect their child from unwanted influences. However, the link can be blocked by antivirus too. And only the user can decide whether to open the port for a potentially dangerous resource.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect to proxy servers. Go to the site of one of them and indicate in the line of your browser the path to the site you need. To connect to a proxy server, you can also use a special program (for example, ProxySwitcher). Select an educational video tutorial (depending on the browser) and go through it. Start ProxySwitcher and change the IP address. Select an active proxy server from the list, and then connect to it.
Step 2
If you are too young to browse some sites on a shared computer, it is possible that the link will not open due to the fact that your parents have blocked access to questionable resources. Try unblocking it through the Parental Controls in the Control Panel (if the administrator account is not password protected). Or (under the same condition) open C: WINDOWSsystem32drivers … and find the hosts file. Open it by selecting "Notepad" from the list of programs, and delete the lines related to blocking the sites you need.
Step 3
Check the firewall settings on your computer and in your antivirus. You may have accidentally blocked access to the site by assigning an appropriate rule. To do this, you will also need to be logged in as an administrator. Check the list of applications and determine which of them (allowed or prohibited) can block the transition to the desired link. Step 4
Download another browser from the official website of the developer company. Enter the address of the site you need in its line and try to open this link. If there is no answer, then there may be some problem on the server, or it simply does not work.
Step 5
Be careful not to follow links on sites that offer unblocking. It is possible that after this transition, you and your computer will face more serious troubles.
