To block an account on the Vkontakte social network, there is a special menu section that allows you to delete a page after a certain time of inactivity. During this period, the use of the social network should be suspended.
Instructions
Step 1
Open your page on the Vkontakte social network and go to the settings item in the menu on the left side of the avatar. Scroll to the very bottom of the page that opens and find the last item called You can delete your profile here. Follow the link provided, and then, following the instructions of the system, confirm the deletion of your page. After that, it will be blocked for a while.
Step 2
If during it you never visit your account, it will be deleted by the site administration. This usually takes about two months. The content of your page will not be available for viewing by other users, including people from your friends list.
Step 3
Please also note that in order to confirm the deletion of your account, you will need access to the mobile phone associated with your page, as confirmation of this operation will be sent to it. This is due to the site's security policy. If you have not previously linked a number, most likely you will need to do this to implement account management functions.
Step 4
If you want to speed up the process of deleting your page on the Vkontakte social network, ask your friends to mark your messages as spam, report your profile, and so on. After that, most likely, your page will be completely removed from the site.
Step 5
When blocking or deleting an account on the Vkontakte social network, pay special attention to linking your mobile phone to the page, it will be valid for the entire time until the account is deleted.
Step 6
You can change the mobile phone number in the settings section by specifying another mobile phone available to you, in order to then register a new page with the current one, if necessary. The same applies to the mailbox specified during or after registration.
