The procedure for authorizing a computer or modem, as a rule, occurs automatically and rather quickly. A computer or a modem makes a connection request, the Internet provider asks for a password and login, and after receiving a new session on the Internet starts.
Instructions
Step 1
All data for checking the login and password are in the Internet provider's database. However, to view and change data, you can also use the settings of your computer or router. To find out the password for your Internet connection as quickly as possible, look at a copy of the Internet service connection agreement and find the item on the password. Otherwise, you can recover your password only with the use of special hacking programs that can harm your computer.
Step 2
If you do not need to know the old password, and you want to restore the Internet connection, you can use the method of resetting the router settings. To do this, open the settings of your router and reset them to the default settings. After that, paste the address of your router into the address bar of any Internet browser and press Enter.
Step 3
In the cells that appear, enter admin instead of the login, and leave the field for specifying the password blank. In the control panel that opens, find the section on establishing an Internet connection. Enter the new username and new password that you will use for the Internet connection, repeat the password in the next cell and click on the "Save changes" function.
Step 4
If you just want to change the password on your Internet connection, change it on the website of your Internet provider. Go to your personal account on the provider's website by entering your username and old password. After authorization, find the "Internet" section and the "Additional features" subsection (for users of "Beeline" services).
Step 5
Click on the "Change password" function and on the page with personal data, first enter the old password in the cell of the same name, and then the new invented password in the appropriate fields. Then click on the Change Password link and your ISP's database will be updated.
