Save the results of previous site rankings checks. This is necessary in order to evaluate the effectiveness of your search engine optimization work. Also, keep track of the positions of your closest competitors and also check them. Significant changes in the positions of competitors indicate their high activity. Keep your finger on the pulse and stay one step ahead.
Step 2
Always check site rankings for those keywords that make up the semantic core of your site. Don't jump, let alone constantly change keywords. This will confuse search engines and nullify your efforts. Better to add new keywords to existing ones. But here, too, observe the measure. Analyze the statistics of your site: when and how many people came to the site for certain requests. Also, remember that a certain amount of time passes from the moment of making changes to the site until it is indexed by search robots. Therefore, do not rush to check positions immediately after changes, wait at least a week. By catching the slightest changes in site positions, you will be able to intervene in time and take measures so that these positions only improve.
