Launch any browser, in the address bar, enter the address of the service to find out the registration information of domain names of sites. This can be, for example,

Enter the address of the site you are interested in in the request form, marked with a red frame, and press the Enter key. After a few seconds, all available information about the resource will appear at the bottom of the page, for example, the date of registration, its owner, i.e. the one who registered the given name. For individuals, depending on the hosting center's policy, the name and surname, address, phone number are displayed. For legal entities, the name and address of the company are displayed.

Similar information can be found out using another resource. Type https://whois.domaintools.com in the address bar and press Enter. A page will open where you will see a request window asking you to enter the domain name of the site or IP address, and this can be either the site address or the address of a specific computer. Enter the name of the site you need in the search bar and click the lookup button. After a while, information about the resource will appear, divided into several tabs.

Step 4

On the first tab of the Whois Record, read information about the site, hosting company, and contact details, from email address to phone numbers. This tab also contains the registration date and the expiration date of the lease term for this domain name. Switch to the second tab called Site Profile to find out general information about the direction of the site and its mentions in search engines.

Step 5

Click on the Registration and Server Stats tabs if you are interested in more detailed information on the site's subdomains and physical location. It should be borne in mind that all information can be of varying degrees of detail, depending on the rules of work of a particular registering organization.
