Step 1
As practice shows, among most of the browsers used, the user wants to make one the most important, setting it up as the main program among similar ones. This operation can be performed not only with the help of a specific browser, but also when editing the list of programs that are assigned the "Default" shortcuts.

Click the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel". Next, double-click on the Add / Remove Programs icon. In the window that opens, go to the "Select programs by default" tab.

After that, in the right part of the window, activate the "Other" section and select the browser that suits you from the options offered. To save the results of the performed actions, click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.

Opera. For this browser, click the top menu "Tools" and select "Options", then go to the "Advanced" tab. On the left side, select the "Programs" subsection, on the right side, check the box next to "Check that Opera is the default browser".
