Most sites and email accounts require registration to protect personal information and maintain privacy. At the same time, Internet browsers offer the function of saving a password and then automatically logging into frequently visited pages. You can use the same username and password everywhere or save it only for a specific site.
Instructions
Step 1
Logins and passwords, once entered during registration or authorization, are automatically saved in the memory of the Internet browser. If you need to enter the site under a different nickname (use a different account), you can simply click on "Logout" on the main page of the site or postal address and enter a new username and password. In this case, it is not necessary to delete old ones from the browser memory.
Step 2
If another person is now working on your computer and you do not want them to visit pages under your name, you can create a password that will protect your data. Automatic login to sites will remain, but will be available only after entering a special password.
Step 3
To create it in the Opera browser, go to the "Menu", hover over the "Settings" line and select the "General settings" tab. You can do this using the keyboard if you press "Ctrl + F12".
Step 4
In the context menu of General Settings, select the Advanced tab. The functions of these settings appear in the left column.
Step 5
Click on the "Security" option. Click on the "Set Password" button. Come up with a password and enter it in the appropriate window. To test yourself, type the same combination in the "Repeat Password" field.
Remember or write down your password.
Step 6
Choose how often the browser should prompt for a password. The field with a choice is located under the button "Set password" and is activated if the password is saved in Opera's memory.
Step 7
If you still want to delete the passwords of the sites that you entered through the Opera browser, also go to the "Basic settings" through the "Menu", in the dialog box that opens, select the "Forms" tab.
Step 8
If you check the box next to the "Enable password management" command, then the secret data is saved in Opera.
Step 9
Click on the "Passwords" button. You will see the addresses of the sites that you visited with your registered name. Left-click on the name of the site and click the "Delete" button on the right.
Step 10
Confirm your actions by clicking "OK".
