Users of the Opera browser know firsthand that the journey on the World Wide Web can be stalled due to the unexpected appearance of the error console. However, the problem is quite solvable - the console can be disabled.
Instructions
Step 1
It should be understood that the error console in Opera is not just there. Its appearance is the program's reaction to certain errors. One of the reasons for the appearance of the console errors may be incorrect configuration of the mail client built into Opera (Opera Mail, M2) or incorrect version update. Therefore, it makes sense not to remove the console (this way you remove the consequence of the problem, not its cause), but to familiarize yourself with its contents and take appropriate measures based on what you have read.
Step 2
Launch Opera browser and open the JavaScript settings menu. This can be done in several ways, and each of them will be described in the next three steps of the instruction. The last step is common for everyone. If you have problems with a large number of sites and it is easier to neutralize the appearance of the error console for everyone at once, use the methods described in the third and fourth steps of the instruction. If there are problems with only one or several sites, and it is easier to block the error console for each of them separately, use the fifth step of the instruction.
Step 3
Click on the button with the Opera icon, which is located in the upper left corner of the program. If you have the main panel displayed, then the button with the Opera icon will be at the bottom left of this panel. When the drop-down menu appears, select Preferences> General Settings> Advanced tab> Content section> Configure JavaScript button on the right side of the window.
Step 4
Click the hotkeys Ctrl + F12, select the "Content" tab, the "Advanced" section, and then click on the "Configure JavaScript" button.
Step 5
If you have problems with only one site, open it, press the F12 function key, in the window that appears, select the lowest item - "Site settings", and then open the "Scripts" tab.
Step 6
Uncheck the box next to "Open console on error" (located at the bottom of the window) and click OK. Close the browser and then reopen it.
