Having stumbled upon an interesting site on the Internet, you begin to move from article to article, from photo to photo, from one link to another, without noticing that you absolutely lose your orientation among the elements of the site. After a fun surfing on the web, it can be extremely difficult to find a link to the main menu of the site, especially if it is in a foreign language. When surfing the Internet, you should always be sure not to get lost among the abundance of information blocks.
Instructions
Step 1
Try to find a block labeled "Main Menu" or something similar. Usually on sites the same type of arrangement of basic elements is enough. On the left or right side of the page, there is usually a general menu with categories and subcategories of materials offered on the site. Less often, such a block can be seen at the top, under the "header" of the site. In this case, the elements will be located along a horizontal line. The first item on such a list is usually “Menu”, “Main menu” or “Exit to the main menu”.
Step 2
Scroll to the bottom of any informative article on the site. Often at the end of each individual page there is a corresponding link "Return to the main menu". Then you just need to click on it with the left mouse button.
Step 3
If you could not find the phrase "Main Menu" anywhere or are on a foreign site and simply do not understand the text, try clicking on the site logo or on the image at the very top of the page if there is no logo as such. Usually, the "header" of the site leads exactly to the main page or to the main menu.
Step 4
If the logo or images in the "header" of the site are not links, then you can try to get to the main menu of the site or to the main page using a browser. To do this, remove all additional characters from the address bar, except for the actual address of the site you are on. Press Enter on your keyboard. Some sites have a full screen splash screen: picture, animation, flash movie, video. By default, it automatically starts when you try to go to the home page. You just need to wait for the system to automatically redirect you to the menu. Some sites provide the ability to remove the splash screen before the end of the playback. To do this, you need to find a link or a button with the text "Skip splash screen" or similar. If your site splash screen is a static image, it is most likely clickable. You can get to the main page of the site with a single or double click of the mouse.
