Step 1
Download the denwer gentleman's set. It includes the essentials for hosting a website on your local computer. This package can be used to install both regular sites and site engines. Step 2
Begin the Denver installation process. To do this, double-click on the shortcut of the downloaded program. The installation process will begin. The installation is automatic, from time to time you need to choose options. First, select the drive to place the Denver folders. Then press the Enter key several times. The installation process takes approximately five minutes. When finished, agree to place the shortcuts on your desktop.
Step 3
Start Denver with the Run shortcut. Services and servers will start starting. Now you need to transfer your site files to Denver directories. To do this, open the folder where you installed the kit. Find the "home" directory. Create a folder with the name of your site. Open this folder. Create another one called "www". Copy all the content of your site into this folder. If you install the engine, then also install its files to the “www” folder. Click "Restart" to restart the server. Enter the name of your site in the address bar. It will open and you can work.
