Network communication has long gone beyond the transmission of dry text. In addition to sending a message, users use the ability to display their photos. Often, their availability is limited to a specific site, and viewing is possible only for certain users. Try to create a web album on a special resource, make it accessible to everyone, or grant the right to view it to friends and acquaintances.
Necessary
- - "Picasa" program;
- - the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
Share your photos using Picasa, which is linked to the Google web service. Using Picasa Web Albums, you can upload photos with a total volume of up to 1 GB, if this space is not enough, you can buy additional ones.
Step 2
To start creating a web album, register for a Google account or use an existing one and install Picasa. Find picasaweb.google. ru, log in using your username and password. Then go back to the Picasa installed on your system and start creating your web album.
Step 3
The functions of the program allow you to add both one photo and several - a whole folder. Right-click on the photo folder on your computer and select "Add to Picasa Web Albums" from the menu that appears. Sort photos in advance - the program will download them in the order in which they are stored in your folders.
Step 4
When working with a web service, enter the name of the created album, specify the photo resolution, indicating the value in pixels, do not forget about the privacy settings. Uploaded images will be marked with a green arrow, if photo upload was blocked for some reason - they will be marked with a red arrow.
Step 5
If you want the web album to update automatically, set up sync with the corresponding folder on your computer. You will automatically update the web album when you add new photos to a folder on your computer.
Step 6
The web service enables sharing of albums. Allow specific users to add photos - select a Gmail contact you know. Import photos not only from a computer, but also directly - from a camera or mobile phone.
Step 7
Add a new device and wait for the system to detect it. For additional devices, all basic parameters are available - album type, image resolution, opening / closing access to users.
Step 8
Pay attention to the function of identifying people - tags must be enabled manually. This feature allows you to designate people by name, and in the future, the program itself will find similar faces and offer to update the settings.
Step 9
Tag your photos with geographic tags. As you browse through the album, you will see vacation spots, and your friends will know where you have traveled. Photos with the specified geographic location will be marked with a special icon. Picasa is just one of the programs that allows you to show your photos on the Internet.
